Convening Power Our organisation excels in convening key stakeholders through working groups and workshops, identifying consensus views and often leading to industry standards. This role will proactively identify the right individuals and organisations to participate in our work, and navigate the sometimes lengthy process of nurturing membership relationships.
Strategic Membership Growth We need someone to champion the growth of our membership base, especially as we expand into hardware as well as software standards. A cohesive strategy to leverage existing and potential non-member partnerships is essential for mutually beneficial MOUs and collaborations.
Long-Term Relationship Building Membership cultivation can take months or years. This role requires someone who appreciates the long game—nurturing meaningful relationships rather than executing quick transactional sales.
Passion & Expertise in Sustainability A genuine interest in sustainability and green software is critical. Though we need someone who can speak confidently about technical topics, we also have in-house experts to support deeper conversations.
Sales Experience & Coaching Mindset Memberships are a key revenue source, so understanding sales pipelines, deal nurturing, and closing processes is vital. As a small team, we want someone who can coach others on growth strategies and integrate growth objectives with broader organisational activities.
