We are seeking a cohort of people to calculate SCI scores for real open source software projects.
We will train you and work with you. Along the way there will be opportunities to feed your experiences back into the Impact Framework project, such as designing features, fixing bugs and improving the UX.
There are limited places in the Watcher community. We want to give each participant the support and guidance they need to succeed.
What will you do?
- create Impact Framework manifest files for real open source projects of your choice
- pioneer a movement in open source software sustainability
- contribute feedback, features, bugs and refinements to the Impact framework project
- help each other, share your experiences
What do you get?
- Join us in walking the walk. Measure software carbon intensity for real projects!
- Dedicated support from the Impact Framework team
- Weekly calls and dedicated Slack channel
- Access to a tight knit community of early adopters
- A chance to create real impact
- Recognition in the form of GSF Champion or Expert accreditation
- Great material for your own outreach (blog, social media, etc)
How to get involved
Fill in the form below, and we’ll get in touch with you.
Not every applicant will be accepted - we want to keep the cohort small and tight-knit so that we can give a lot of support.
